ABOUT THE ROLE: Senior MTS, UI Engineering

Aviatrix Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) delivers the intelligence, advanced network and security services of Aviatrix’s multi-cloud network platform as a managed offering.

We are seeking a Sr. Member of Technical Staff – Software Development to join our PaaS Team, focusing on the user interface for the product. In this role, you will independently deliver defined features, contribute to design discussions, and collaborate with a talented cloud engineering team to deliver solutions for enterprise customers. This is a great opportunity to gain multi-cloud experience in a cloud-native networking environment while helping Aviatrix advance the state of multi-cloud networking and security services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and develop features for the unified management user interface that provides visibility and control for multi-cloud at scale.
  • Build services and applications using TypeScript, React, Node.js, HTML, and CSS.
  • Create prototypes to validate use cases, gather feedback, and iterate on feature sets for future releases.
  • Contribute to design proposals and present solutions for review by senior engineers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Assist with customer escalations as part of the engineering team, providing technical solutions to issues.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code consistent with Aviatrix’s standards.
  • Actively participate in engineering team meetings and cross-functional discussions.
  • Contribute to interviews as part of Aviatrix’s hiring process.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of full-stack development experience in enterprise software. · Proficiency in Typescript, node.js HTML and CSS.
  • Practical working experience with React.
  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
  • Experience with Golang and networking is preferred.
  • Experience with agile development processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently deliver defined features with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, high growth product engineering environment.
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Math, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

The US annual base salary range for this full-time position is $148,495-$174,700 + benefits + 401(k) match + equity and is bonus eligible. The pay range is determined by the role, work location, job-related skills, level, experience and relevant education. The range displayed is applicable only for new hires for the listed position located in the US.
