SUMMARY
Avetta is looking for an awesome HR Generalist to join our Global People Ops Team. The ideal candidate is someone with an outgoing personality, who is dynamic, fun, and ready to get things done. The HR Generalist will provide human resources (HR) support relating to new hire onboarding, benefits, employee relations, and HR operations. The HR Generalist will focus on applying HR policies and guidelines, ensuring adherence to standards and regulations, educating newly hired employees on HR policies and procedures, as well as counselling employees and managers on work-related problems.
This role requires a hybrid schedule in our Lehi, UT office (3 days in office, 2 days work from home).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage employee benefits programs, including drafting and managing timely company-wide communication and liaising with brokers, providers, and other stakeholders.
- Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and issues, helping address and resolve them in a timely and professional manner.
- Process and maintain benefits enrollments, education, forms, inquiries, HRIS updates, carrier platforms, employee communication, etc.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Manage the offboarding process for departing employees.
- Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and insights.
- Collaborate with select department managers to understand their HR needs and provide strategic HR support.
- Advise on HR best practices and contribute to business planning and decision-making.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Help maintain the HR Inbox - review and respond to/forward inquiries as necessary; help manage task distribution within the HR inbox; help categorize emails and file them into subfolders.
- Manage, track, and periodically audit employee records in the HRIS system and other platforms.
- Periodic documentation audits, as needed.
- Assist with Company events and activities.
- Assist with quarterly AvettaGives initiatives, both global and local.
- Assist with HR-related swag.
- Backup support for global onboarding and employee changes.
- Reporting and other projects, as needed.
- Regular and predictive attendance.
IDEAL EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of related experience.
- Strong attention to detail, initiative, and follow-through.
- High level of confidentiality and personal integrity.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously, with little supervision.
- Ability to build productive professional relationships with internal and external partners to resolve any issues or problems.
- Ability to work on problems of moderate scope, both varied and routine, where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
- Ability to exercise judgment to determine a course of action based on established guidelines.
- Ability to recommend process modifications and new method implementation as needed.
- Ability to develop subject matter expertise, apply professional concepts as well as company policies and procedures, to solve a variety of issues.
- Computer literacy - proficient with MS Office suite and other platforms.
- Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment.
- Urgency and timeliness – all inquiries are answered in a timely manner.
