Your Impact:

As a Business Analyst within Avetta's Data Systems & Business Intelligence team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our business systems data automation and enhancing our data warehouse infrastructure. Your work will directly impact our internal users by embedding data-driven insights into our daily operations. You'll drive the requirements gathering process, ensuring active participation from stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs), and fostering agile methodologies to develop impactful data analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage proactively with stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into actionable data specifications and project plans.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to design wireframes and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, ensuring they provide actionable insights.
• Develop comprehensive documentation, including requirement specifications, data dictionaries, and process flows, and lead change management initiatives to drive adoption of new processes and tools.
• Work cross-functionally to integrate data systems and business intelligence solutions, supporting data pipeline development aligned with organizational goals and data governance standards.
• Ensure data security, quality, and governance standards are upheld in all solutions and reporting.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team, sharing insights and best practices.
• Adapt swiftly using various business tools for effective communication and requirement development.

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business analyst or product ownership role, with a proven track record in requirements elicitation and driving data-driven solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud database platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, SQL Server) and SaaS business systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create detailed documentation and convey complex information clearly.
• Experience in leading change management processes and enabling operational automation within an organization.

Nice to Have:

• Certifications in SaaS platforms.
• Samples of documentation portfolio.
