What You'll Do:

• Shape and execute a forward-thinking data science strategy aligned with our company’s goals.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of talented data scientists, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
• Champion the use of Generative AI across our R&D efforts.
• Develop and implement advanced analytical models, algorithms, and predictive analytics to solve complex business challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and marketing, to uncover data-driven growth opportunities.
• Ensure the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and integrity in all data science deliverables.
• Stay on the cutting edge of data science, machine learning, and AI technologies, and assess their potential applications within Avetta.
• Drive best practices in data science, including coding standards, model development, and validation techniques.
• Present your findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders in a clear, actionable manner.

What We're Looking For:

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in data science, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala, and experience with data science tools and frameworks.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences.
• A track record of managing multiple projects and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
