SUMMARY

Avetta is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales (B2B SaaS) to lead our Mid-Market sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, coaching, and motivating a team of 4-8 Account Executives, driving sales performance, and achieving revenue targets. The Director of Sales will play a critical role in developing and executing sales strategies, expanding market presence, and ensuring customer satisfaction within the mid-market segment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team. Fostering a high-performance sales culture focused on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Develops the long-term sales pipeline and sets direction for business development, to increase the company's market share in Workforce Management.
  • Balances strategic and tactical pursuits to optimize coverage and develop a predictable revenue stream.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the mid-market segment.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align efforts and optimize results.
  • Track and analyze sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive accountability.
  • Effectively uses internal sales tools to maintain a healthy pipeline and account plans.
  • Collaborates across Avetta Teams to deliver a consistent approach to developing business, including account planning for end-to-end solutions.
  • Assesses solution feasibility from a technical and business perspective to accurately qualify deals.
  • Ensure transparency and clear communication of sales performance and objectives.
  • Implement best practices for prospecting, qualification, negotiation, and closing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree; Advanced Degree or MBA a plus.
  • Demonstrated achievement quota, interface with diverse business customers at all levels.
  • 7-10+ years of sales experience, 3-5 Years Sales Management Experience.
  • Prior selling experience includes multiple, diverse set of selling responsibilities.
  • Extensive experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of the mid-market segment and its dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute and drive results.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
