SUMMARY

At Avetta, our Design Manager is a leader who puts the consumer at the heart of everything they do, and they lead with a general management approach. If residing within commutable distance to our office in Lehi, Dallas, Houston, or Irvine, a hybrid schedule would be offered (3 days in office, 2 days work from home). Candidates within commutable distance are preferred, but those outside of an office area may be considered.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure design consistency of look, tone and voice across all marketing assets, campaigns and external-facing communications.
  • Website – Working with the Product Design team helps manage design, research, and copywriting for targeted web messaging and sales campaigns.
  • Facilitates the creation of meaningful, clear, effective brand design for campaigns, leaning in to directly support delivery where necessary. Coaches designers and peers how to do this well.
  • Understands our brand strategy and ensures our brand strategy is communicated, understood, and implemented by all cross-functional groups.
  • Forms a strong partnership with Marketing Ops, PMM and Lead Gen, acting as a critical partner and driving execution alignment. Provides feedback on prioritization, road mapping, and scoping conversations. Ensures design capacity is factored in.
  • Facilitates the delivery of high-quality work. Provides clear, effective feedback on design-level collateral via written feedback, critiques, and 1:1 working sessions. Provides feedback that teaches in addition to guiding output. Saves time by delivering incisive feedback and ensuring designers are consistently on track.
  • Actively contribute to the creation of global marketing plans for the brand.
  • Champions and embraces change, keeps up with emerging technologies and trends, and exhibits a willingness to experiment with new approaches.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design, communications or relevant experience in the field.
  • 3-5 years of marketing and design experience and project leadership
  • Proficiency in design software and understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing tools.
  • Experience in leading and managing teams, with strong project management skills. The ability to delegate, motivate and provide clear direction and feedback.
  • A creative mindset and willingness to think outside the box to create engaging content.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience leading creative teams.
