Role Overview:

As a Product Manager at Avetta, you'll be at the forefront of driving customer-centric innovation. You'll leverage your exceptional product instincts, data-influenced mindset, and design thinking to craft a strategic roadmap that not only meets our business objectives but also solves critical customer challenges. Your role will encompass investigation, analysis, and documentation of features and functionality within your product vertical, showcasing your ability to deliver impactful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, evaluate, identify, and fill product gaps, and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
  • Represent the customer in all things. Be the champion and voice of customers. Bring the customer's voice into everything you do.
  • Craft the “what” and the “why” for your product vertical within Connect, Avetta's flagship SaaS platform.
  • Lead the team in product discovery, collaborating closely with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs, and gleaning insights from data to shape clear priorities that deliver impactful business outcomes.
  • Use a metrics-driven product development approach. Define success measures for roadmap items and demonstrate measurable impact on those success metrics to ensure benefit and/or value is delivered through the solution, and produce improvement plans where needed.
  • Effectively communicate the business value and rationale behind your product decisions
  • Lead the customer communication of product enhancements and roadmap, including marketing of new capabilities.
  • Collaborate with UX to research, design and test potential solutions to features and product backlog items.
  • Effectively accommodate changing priorities and manage expectations should product work and corresponding deliverables not go according to plan.
  • Proactively identify and address strategic issues that might impede the product roadmap.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for internal teams that have product questions, feature requests, and other product related needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Math, MIS, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of enterprise/commercial product management experience, especially with an enterprise SaaS product.
  • Leadership DNA – proven ability to set a product vision, excite, and lead a cross-functional team to execute.
  • Creative and analytical thinker who thrives on solving challenging problems.
  • Proven ability to transform market needs into a successful product strategy.
  • Obsessively customer-driven with strong customer discovery and problem validation skills.
  • Ability to hold your own in usability/UX discussions with Visual Design and technical architecture discussions with Engineering. Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, translate to customer and business implications, manage tradeoffs, and facilitate decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence as well as collaborate and negotiate with key stakeholders and executives.
  • Experience with reporting and analyzing key metrics and incorporating them into decision- making processes.
  • Experience using Jira or similar ticketing system to manage product backlogs.
  • Experience using Confluence to build wiki and display reports.
  • Exposure to or familiarity with an Agile or Scrum based methodology.
  • Highly effective communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
