Role Description

The Business Transformation Manager is crucial to the success of the Program Management team and Business. You will ensure that any allocated projects or key pieces of change are effectively implemented and understood and therefore achieve their desired objectives.

You will be a principal part of dedicated Mission Squads working with empowered high calibre domain experts to help deliver industry leading customer outcomes and experiences through iterative sprints.

You’ll work closely with a range of stakeholders from Operations through Compliance, Marketing, HR, Finance Treasury and others to ensure that business impacts of these changes are considered, planned for, trained for and successfully implemented.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Deliver changes in organisation design, business processes and procedures, training and communications are embedded in the organisation.
  • Assess the change impact via Data analysis and conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
  • Drive adoption and success of changes within the organisation, ensuring continuous adherence to the overall program plan and being the lead on reporting and tracking these through to completion
  • Develop mission strategies and plans, including stakeholder assessment, communications, leadership alignment, organisation transition, change readiness, capability transfer, and end-user training.
  • Facilitate program management activities with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to understand and ensure adoption of the mission change.
  • Management of Risks / issues / actions / dependencies and change control
  • Ensures regular status reporting to stakeholders and escalation as appropriate to overcome delays, difficulties or cost over-runs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts
  • Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language

Personal Attributes & Experience

  • You have extensive experience in managing and lead change at pace in complex organisations
  • You are comfortable working alongside and challenging all levels of stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • You understand the importance of and have worked with data to underpin decision making and use tools to accelerate outcomes
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive attitude to make a difference and drive impact
  • The ability to communicate complex problems and analysis simply with a variety of stakeholders (both technical and non-technical)
  • You are highly proficient in tools such as Jira / Confluence
  • You have demonstrable experience of leading the delivery of significant and complex project and organisational change, ideally working previously within a migration program
  • You develop a network of key contacts around the business which you utilise to improve business and project performance
