Purpose of the role
We are seeking a Marketing and Sales Operations Manager to join our Growth Squad. In this role, you will focus on managing our HubSpot Sales Hub CRM, ensuring that workflows are standardized and simplified, the correct information is captured, and the right processes are followed. You will build reporting within HubSpot and externally to track the sales pipeline and customer success metrics. Additionally, you will document and build out process automations, assist with HubSpot API integrations, and ensure data quality and accuracy across the CRM and our internal repositories. Your goal will be to unlock team efficiency and ensure compliance, leveraging your expertise in HubSpot and staying updated with its new functionalities.
Job responsibilities
HubSpot CRM Management:
- Manage and optimize the use of HubSpot CRM across the Growth Squad.
- Standardize workflows and ensure best practices are followed within the CRM.
- Simplify processes to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
Data Quality and Accuracy:
- Ensure data quality and accuracy across HubSpot and internal repositories.
- Implement and maintain data validation rules to prevent data entry errors.
- Regularly audit HubSpot to identify and rectify data inconsistencies.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Build and maintain comprehensive reports within HubSpot to track sales pipeline and customer success metrics.
- Develop external reports to provide insights into sales performance and customer outcomes.
- Utilize HubSpot's reporting tools to generate actionable insights for the Growth Squad.
Process Automation:
- Document and build out process automations within HubSpot to streamline operations.
- Identify repetitive tasks and design automation solutions to reduce manual work.
- Ensure automation processes are thoroughly documented and easy to follow.
- Help support marketing automation efforts.
HubSpot API Integrations:
- Assist with HubSpot API integrations to enhance system capabilities.
- Work closely with the engineering team to ensure seamless integration with other internal applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues promptly.
Training and Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for HubSpot processes and workflows.
- Provide training and support to team members to ensure effective use of HubSpot.
- Stay up to date with new functionalities and features across HubSpot's different hubs and implement relevant updates.
Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure all HubSpot activities comply with relevant regulations and best practices.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of data protection laws and ensure adherence within the HubSpot.
- Regularly review and update compliance-related processes and documentation.
- Manage customer consent within the HubSpot to ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
HubSpot CMS and Email Marketing Support:
- Help support the CMS module to ensure efficient content management.
- Assist with ad hoc marketing email sends to support various campaigns and initiatives.
Key attributes and experience
- Expert knowledge of HubSpot’s Marketing, Sales, and Service Hub.
- Strong understanding of CRM best practices and data management principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
- Proficiency in process documentation and automation tools.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail, proficient with tracking software such as Jira.
- Strong understanding of marketing & growth principles and tactics.
- Experience with customer consent management within HubSpot.
- Experience with supporting HubSpot CMS modules and managing content efficiently.
- Proficiency in supporting ad hoc marketing email sends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in layperson terms.
- Solution-oriented problem solver who proactively searches for answers when unsure.
- Proactive self-starter who continuously looks for ways to improve existing processes.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and remains resilient when faced with the unexpected.
