Role Description

Primary duties consist of Treasury Management daily operations to ensure all processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Assist with processing, coordinating and implementation of Treasury Management products to ensure delivery is within time frames as specified. Work closely with Treasury Front Office to enhance the satisfaction of our clients through timely and accurate funds management. The role will focus on key treasury activities such as collateral management, payments, swaps settlement, intraday liquidity management and support Treasury with ad hoc projects and activities.

What You'll Do

• BAU support of Treasury activities including reporting, reconciliation, settlements, and payments processing.
• full end to end processing and settlement of all Treasury transactions.
• Management activities such as agreement of margin calls, collateral interest and coupons relating to derivative positions.
• confirmation matching.
• Ensuring all transactions are effectively managed and recorded within the systems/Treasury Management System.
• All transactions requiring a funds transfer are settled within the required timescales.
• Performing daily payments.
• Daily management of collateral posting and exchange with Bank of England.
• Investigating differences and resolving issues which arise.
• Develop and maintain procedures and policies for treasury operations.
• Liaise with external back-office counterparts (banks, brokers) for smooth transactions and issue resolution.
• Monitoring of bank counterparty exposures and dealer mandates against limits.
• Assist in projects that involve new products or partnerships from the Treasury Operations perspective.

What You'll Bring

• Experience of working in Treasury Back Office.
• Understanding of interest rate swaps, securities, liquidity and payments.
• You will have knowledge of Treasury settlement processes and in particular Treasury transactions and experience of using a Treasury management system.
• You are used to supporting Treasury with settlement of derivatives transactions, bonds and you will be able to perform the first check control for numbers accuracy.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills developed from a finance-based background.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with use of MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Be capable of working in a fast-paced environment, managing complex, competing and alternating priorities with a constant focus on delivery.
• Have resilience and energy for collaborating with others, working flexibly and driving developments rapidly.
• Have confidence, creditability and highly developed interpersonal skills with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
• Be a clear and independent thinker, logical, analytical and structured in approach to all business issues.
