About this role
The Medical Imaging Specialist is a pivotal position within Aidoc, dedicated to establishing and implementing best practices for imaging acquisition protocols and configurations across Aidoc's suite of solutions. This role plays a crucial part in the installation and deployment processes, ensuring optimal clinical outcomes and exceptional customer satisfaction. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in modality setup, the Medical Imaging Consultant will provide expertise and guidance across a diverse range of products and projects, driving innovation and excellence in medical imaging.
Responsibilities
- Establish and implement best practices for imaging acquisition protocols and configurations across Aidoc's suite of solutions. In addition, establishing and training Aidoc internal team on imaging-related topics and establishing training programs for the Imaging staff of Aidoc's customers.
- Adjust and optimize imaging protocols with Aidoc's partners, to ensure high-quality scans while addressing customer processes and concerns, including consulting and guiding multi-tradeoffs decision making processes.
- Assist the core deployment team (Implementation Managers, Solution Success Managers and Customer Success Managers) with modality-related questions and challenges, providing expert guidance and troubleshooting.
- Build consensus and advocate for best practices in imaging modality setup among diverse customer stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and trust.
- Identify and drive additional areas for improvement and innovation in imaging protocol adjustments and overall solution deployment.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in modality setup across various products and projects, offering in-depth technical knowledge and expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certification in CT technology is a plus.
- Extensive (5+ years) experience as a radiology technologist or engineer, preferably with experience in protocol adjustments and optimization. Experience across multiple different modality types and manufacturers is a plus, with CT being a requirement.
- Foundational knowledge of dose, noise, and image quality considerations in CT imaging, combined with experience working with various CT modality manufacturers and versions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build consensus and advocate for best practices among diverse stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites for installations and training sessions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience in the healthcare SaaS industry or similar fields is preferred. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
