What you’ll do ​& Who you are

We're seeking a passionate Senior Data Engineer (d/f/m) to join our Dealer Product Team.

You'll work in an Agile environment, collaborating with our Product Owner to build impactful dealer products.

You are:

What you'll do:

  • Build and integrate data products and services into our systems and business processes.

  • Design and implement data flows between systems and automate them.

  • Build accessible data for analysis and data product development.

  • Transform and make data accessible for analysis and product development, ensuring data privacy.

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of experience in Python or Scala, or Java.

  • Strong SQL skills (including CTEs and window functions).

  • Experience with data modeling for cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake) and familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).

  • Proven ability to design and implement high-throughput data architectures and ETL pipelines for batch and real-time processing (e.g., Spark, Flink, Kafka, Airflow, dbt).

  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP or AWS), Docker, and Linux administration for cloud VMs.

  • Strong collaboration skills, working with Developers, UX, and Product Managers in tech or marketplace environments.

  • Plus: Experience with Databricks Delta, Airbyte, distributed systems, microservices, or machine learning deployment.

We support hybrid work, and you will work some times each month in our office - The Oberpostdirektion in Berlin. You will report to your engineering manager and work in a crossfunctional team.
