Purpose of the Role
This role focuses mainly on quantitative environmental work (greenhouse gas measurement, analysis, and reduction and all other environmentally-related topics) supporting the company’s transition towards low-carbon mobility.
Your Key Responsibilities
Own the company’s carbon accounting across Scopes 1, 2 and 3, in full alignment with the GHG Protocol.
Collect, validate, and manage environmental data ensuring transparent, auditable inventories.
Set and monitor GHG reduction targets consistent with science-based approaches, ensuring they are measurable, time-bound, and aligned with the company’s growth trajectory.
Develop a detailed decarbonisation roadmap, identifying reduction levers, cost–benefit trade-offs, and science-based trajectories.
Perform carbon modelling and scenario analysis to forecast impacts of initiatives and business decisions.
Support annual environmental disclosure (CSRD/ESRS or VSME) through well-documented, verified datasets, and coordinate third-party verification or assurance processes when required.
Establish data-governance procedures, emission-factor libraries, and quality-control protocols to ensure consistency and integrity of environmental data.
Build internal dashboards and tools to monitor progress against environmental KPIs.
Provide technical guidance on all environmentally related topics, ensuring that sustainability decisions are grounded in accurate data and sound methodologies.
Contribute to the company’s value creation strategy by identifying and assessing technical opportunities for greener mobility solutions (EV lifecycle improvements, low-carbon logistics, circular practices).
Contribute to internal capacity-building by explaining carbon mechanisms and decarbonisation pathways to non-experts.
The Role Requirements
Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related technical field.
3+ years of hands-on experience in GHG accounting, carbon footprinting, or decarbonisation planning.
Strong command of environmental science, sustainability analytics, and climate-change mitigation principles.
Proven ability to calculate and interpret Scope 1–3 emissions, apply emission factors, and manage large datasets.
Familiarity with relevant standards and frameworks (GHG Protocol, ISO 14064, SBTi, CDP, etc.).
Experience building or contributing to corporate decarbonisation roadmaps or energy-efficiency programmes.
Advanced Excel or data-tool skills (for ex: Power BI, Python, or carbon software platforms) for analysis and reporting.
Exceptionally analytical: passionate about data accuracy, emissions modelling, and methodological rigour.
Strong attention to detail and curiosity for environmental systems
Ability to translate complex quantitative findings into actionable recommendations (including to C-Level).
Self-driven, structured, and comfortable working independently on technical topics.
Enthusiastic about low-carbon mobility and emerging technologies.
Big plus: Experience in mobility, automotive, or technology sectors or/and technical familiarity with electric vehicles (EVs), battery lifecycle impacts, and charging-infrastructure emissions.
