What you’ll do & Who you are
The Sales Performance Analyst plays a critical role in driving commercial excellence by delivering deep analytical insights, performance transparency, and strategic recommendations. This position partners closely with Sales Leadership, Revenue Operations, and Finance to improve forecasting accuracy, optimize sales processes, and identify opportunities that support sustained revenue growth.
What you will do:
Sales Performance & KPI Analysis
Analyze sales performance across regions, segments, products, and channels to highlight trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
Own and enhance KPI frameworks to ensure consistent measurement of sales effectiveness and productivity.
Produce and automate dashboards, scorecards, and reports used by sales leadership and executive teams.
Forecasting & Pipeline Optimization
Lead the development and continuous refinement of sales forecasting models.
Evaluate pipeline health, conversion rates, and deal progression to provide actionable insights.
Conduct scenario modeling to support quarterly planning, budgeting, and strategic decision‑making.
Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
Identify bottlenecks in the sales workflow and recommend data‑driven solutions to improve efficiency.
Partner with Sales Operations to improve territory alignment, quota design, and performance measurement.
Support CRM data integrity initiatives and optimize reporting structures.
Pricing, Profitability & Commercial Insights
Conduct analysis on pricing, discounting, and deal profitability to support margin optimization.
Provide insights that shape pricing strategy, sales motions, and commercial planning.
Collaborate with Finance, Product, and Marketing on business cases and go‑to‑market initiatives.
Strategic Initiatives & Leadership Support
Deliver analytics support for strategic projects such as market expansion, segmentation, and product launches.
Prepare data‑backed presentations and insights for executive reviews and board‑level reporting.
Mentor junior analysts and contribute to building analytical capabilities within the team.
Who you are:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in sales analytics, revenue operations, business intelligence, or commercial performance roles.
Strong proficiency with analytics and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, SQL, Power BI, Looker).
Solid understanding of CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
Proven experience with forecasting, KPI modeling, and pipeline analysis.
Experience in high‑growth or multinational sales environments.
Expertise in pricing, commercial strategy, or financial modeling.
Familiarity with predictive analytics, statistical modeling, or advanced automation.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Strong problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail.
Proficiency in English and German is essential for this role.
