Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mobile Engineer (Android) to design, develop, and maintain mobile applications and APIs that deliver a seamless and engaging experience for our users. In this role, you will work on high-performance applications for Android, analyze business and user requirements, and deliver innovative solutions using the latest technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Android applications and supporting APIs.

  • Analyze third-party and client requirements to create useful and innovative mobile solutions.

  • Develop high-performance, scalable, and secure mobile applications tailored for Android platforms.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile development.

  • Experiment with and implement cutting-edge tools and techniques to enhance mobile solutions.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, backend engineers, and product managers, to ensure seamless integration and user experience.

  • Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, from system design to detailed programming and testing.

  • Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability through rigorous testing and code reviews.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Experience:

    • 3+ years of experience in Android application development.

    • Strong proficiency in Kotlin (and Java is a plus).

  • Deep understanding of Android SDK, UI frameworks, and design patterns (MVVM/MVI).

  • Experience with RESTful APIs, networking, and backend integration.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for mobile applications.

  • Familiarity with modern libraries and frameworks (e.g., Jetpack components, Retrofit, Dagger/Hilt).

  • Understanding of performance tuning and optimization for mobile devices.

  • Passion for clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with multi-platform development or iOS knowledge is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative development tools (Jira, Git, etc.).

  • Contributions to open-source projects or personal app portfolio.
