About the team

Join our multidisciplinary Transactions team in Amsterdam as a Senior iOS Developer. Working in a hybrid setup, you’ll help shape and improve the user experience across transactions, shipping, and payments, driving adoption and growth. We take a data-driven and experimental approach to product development, using Agile practices, A/B testing, and insights-driven research to guide our decisions.

Who you are

You are an experienced iOS Developer with a track record of building apps for large user bases. You thrive in Agile environments, are delivery-focused, and continuously look for ways to improve team processes.

You enjoy collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to shape features from concept to release. You are based in the Netherlands and fully authorized to work here.

What you’ll do

  • Design and implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable iOS solutions.

  • Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code following industry best practices.

  • Contribute to all areas of development: coding, processes, testing, tools, and collaboration.

  • Promote engineering excellence within the team and across the iOS chapter.

Core Skills

  • 5+ years of native iOS development experience with Swift, SwiftUI and UIKit.

  • Deep understanding of iOS architectures, design patterns, and development best practices.

  • Proven ability to build maintainable and testable codebases, including API design and unit testing.

  • Solid understanding of clean coding principles, TDD, CI/CD, and SOLID practices.

  • Experience with A/B testing, app monitoring, and delivering features incrementally.

Other Skills

  • Comfortable collaborating with design and backend teams to deliver end-to-end features.

  • A user-first mindset, always considering real-world scenarios when developing features.

  • Strong communication skills for sharing proposals, updates, and solutions.

Interview Process

We aim to keep our interview process transparent, efficient, and respectful of your time. Here’s what you can expect:

Stage 1 – Introductory Technical Interview (60 minutes)

  • Who: Hiring Manager + iOS Engineer

  • Format: Virtual

Stage 2 – Technical Assessment & Deep Dive (90 minutes)

  • Who: Senior iOS Engineers

  • Format: Virtual - Online assessment + live technical discussion

Stage 3 – Culture & Team Fit (45 minutes)

  • Who: Colleagues from various departments

  • Format: Virtual or on-site
