What you’ll do & Who you are
You will join Team OctoPRO, one of the team in charge to boost a key area of revenue of Kleinanzeigen, the PRO Seller area. Our main focus to is to grow the number of professional sellers and increase their efficiency.
You will report directly to the Engineering Manager of the team.
This is a hybrid role, and our lovely new office that combines modern amenities with the charm of Barcelona.
What you'll do:
Be part of a welcoming and multicultural team, working in an Agile environment
Collaborate closely with backend and mobile engineers, as well as product managers and UX designers
Develop high-quality frontend applications using React and TypeScript
Implement and maintain responsive user interfaces for our professional customer platform
Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards
Wow our customers with how great everything looks and feels
Work with the team to constantly evolve our ways of working
Be an active part of our Engineering community to make sure the discipline keeps advancing throughout the company
Who you are:
You are fluent in HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript
You have 3+ years of experience working with React or Next.js projects - you would call yourself an expert
You have 3+ years of experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress, and you understand why testing matters
Experience with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
You know how to read and work with existing codebases
You always aim for bringing the best UX possible to our customers
You have worked in Agile environments before.
