What you’ll do ​& Who you are

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk & Internal Control Manager to join our marketplace.

This role’s main responsibilities will be to carry out activities to support the design and implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework together with the Internal Control Financial Reporting (ICFR) Framework, coordinate the risk and internal control assessment process across the organisation and identify emerging risks and trends that may impact the achievements of strategic objectives. This role also focuses on supporting activities that drive leboncoin risk and internal control culture and providing training to relevant stakeholders to ensure the ERM and ICFR framework is executed effectively.

What you’ll do

  • Support the company in the adoption and use of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework.

  • Coordinate top-down and bottom-up risk assessment process and identify emerging risks and trends, ensuring a comprehensive risk spine is maintained for the company.

  • Support the risk owners to ensure risk mitigating and monitoring activities are in place to manage risks within risk appetite.

  • Identify ERM and risk awareness training requirements and prepare content / deliver training across the company as required.

  • Design, implement and maintain an internal control framework aligned with organizational objectives, including the evaluation of the design and effectiveness of internal controls in accordance Group ICFR Framework.

  • Support the business to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Delegation of Authority and other corporate policies/standards.

  • Support senior management messaging and tone-from-the-top to drive risk culture.

  • Support Risk owners and help facilitate the Risk Appetite Deep Dive process for Principal Risks, as well as any other risk related processes and projects across the organisation.

  • Participate/lead governing risk bodies as required.

  • Work collaboratively with different departments on projects that require risk subject matter expertise.

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • Internationally recognised professional certifications related to Risk Management, Internal Control and/or Internal Audit (CRMA, COSO ERM, CIA, IRM qualifications, etc) are a plus.

  • Proven knowledge of risk management techniques and ability to explain technical ERM concepts to non-specialists (minimum 10 year experience in a risk management role, preferably in a public listed company).

  • Extensive experience (5-10 years minimum) implementing and monitoring internal control frameworks.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Proficiency knowledge of Google Workspace, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent written and verbal English and French communication and influencing skills.

  • Humble, with a can-do attitude and willingness to continue learning throughout their career.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to professionalism and integrity.

  • External audit experience in a Big Four firm is a plus.
