About the Role:

As Senior Pricing Lead/ Team Lead Pricing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing our monetization strategy at mobile.de. Working closely with teams across Sales, Product, Finance and Marketing, you will lead pricing initiatives that drive revenue growth and enhance our platform’s value proposition. Your insights and strategic approach will have a direct impact on business models in both B2B and B2C segments, ensuring sustainable top-line growth.

In this role, you will develop and execute pricing strategies, design commercial models, and lead cross-functional initiatives. You will serve as a key thought leader in pricing and monetization and work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

You will report to the CFO mobile.de. This is a hybrid position based in Berlin, Charlottenburg, offering flexibility to work both remotely and in-office (3 days/ week).

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement our overarching monetization strategies aligned with company goals and market conditions

  • Understand pricing landscapes and trends through thorough market research and competitive analysis (locally and internationally)

  • Lead pricing initiatives from strategic conception to execution, ensuring optimal monetization across various revenue streams

  • Understand and align impact of pricing changes on systems, processes, costs and resources and ensure actionable pricing plans and timelines

  • Monitor, develop and refine pricing strategies for existing and new products, aligning with business goals; identify and resolve areas of improvement

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Business Development, FP&A, and Marketing) to drive pricing and monetization strategies; support Sales negotiations and customer agreements

  • Design and implement pricing adjustments that enhance revenue performance while maintaining customer value

  • Contribute to the development of new business models and product pricing, acting as a trusted commercial advisor to leadership

  • Support decision-making and consult senior management and stakeholders with data-driven insights and pricing recommendations

  • Engage with other company’s pricing teams, external pricing experts and consultants, acting as the central point of contact for pricing-related initiatives

  • Build and maintain pricing models and tools to optimize price setting and forecasting

  • Implement and manage pricing structures, price lists, and discount programs across various channels

  • Develop and maintain pricing guidelines and documentation, ensure compliance with pricing policies and regulations

  • Generate regular pricing reports and present findings to management

Your Profile:

  • Academic background in Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or another analytical discipline.

  • +8 years of relevant experience in a top-tier consulting firm, focusing on pricing strategies and/or digital business models (Classifieds, SaaS, E-commerce, etc.).

  • Proven experience in designing and running pricing-focused customer surveys.

  • Demonstrated ability to autonomously lead pricing projects, managing workstreams and cross-functional teams.

  • Proven people management skills, leading & developing smaller to medium-sized teams of analysts and project managers

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience presenting insights to senior executives and investors.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a solution-oriented mindset.

  • Experience in AI-driven automation in pricing strategies is a plus

  • Fluent in English and German (preferred).
